On the performance front, the 2023 Toyota Sequoia dominates the 2022 Honda Pilot. It features an iForce MAX hybrid system, which generates a total system output of 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque. In comparison, the 3.5-liter V-6 engine in the Pilot produces only 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque.
The Sequoia is also the superior choice for towing. It boasts a maximum towing capacity of 9,000 pounds, compared to 5,000 pounds for the Pilot.

In comparison, the starting prices of the Pilot range from $37,580 for the Sport trim up to $51,370 for the Black Edition trim.
