All 2023 Volkswagen Arteon models feature a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which generates 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Also, buyers of the Arteon have a choice of either a front-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive system. 

For acceleration, the Arteon can go from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds. Also, for efficiency, the midsize sedan has an estimated gas mileage of up to 24 city/34 highway mpg.

For legroom, the Arteon offers 41.2 inches for the front seats and 40.2 inches for the rear. Also, for storage, it has a cargo capacity of 27.2 cu-ft behind the rear seats and 56.2 cu-ft with the rear seats folded down.

The 2023 VW Arteon is a carryover model with no major changes for the new model year. However, the midsize sedan adds more standard features across the trim lineup. Newly standard features for the base-level SE R-Line include performance LED headlights, a heated steering wheel, and a road sign display driving assistance technology. 

Also, the SEL R-Line upgrades from 19-inch to 20-inch wheels. Additionally, the SEL Premium R-Line trim adds 30-color ambient lighting and Black Carbon trim décor.
