While the Ford F-150 Lightning lags behind the Chevy Silverado EV in range, it’s still a superb EV with revolutionary features.

Unlike the electric Chevy Silverado, the F-150 Lightning largely resembles a traditional pickup. Aside from the LED lights around its grille, the F-150 EV could be mistaken for a regular version. And many consumers like that, with strong demand causing Ford to increase production.

Similar to the Silverado EV, the F-150 Lightning produces muscular power figures. Extended Range versions make 580 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque for a supercar-like 0-60 time of 4.0 seconds.

And the largest touchscreen available on a full-size truck brings new levels of functionality.

The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV tops the Ford F-150 Lightning in pure driving range. And with its groundbreaking design, the electric Silverado sets an exciting course for future pickup trucks.
