The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 Could Be the Electric SUV for Big Families
The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be Hyundai’s latest in their line of Hyundai Ioniq electric vehicles. It will be a three-row SUV, and by all accounts, it could be a huge hit. Here’s what we know so far, including the Hyundai Ioniq 7 price, release date, and just how cool the Ioniq 7 interior will be.
What is the Hyundai Ioniq 7 price?
Although Hyundai hasn’t released official pricing yet, Top Electric SUV says that it’s likely to cost somewhere between $50,000 and $55,000. The Hyundai Ioniq 7 will come with 2WD, though all-wheel drive should be optional. The Hyundai Ioniq 7 range is excellent. The base model engine will be capable of 308 hp and be able to get more than 300 miles of range from one charge. This is an exceptional number, especially for a larger electric SUV, and will likely boost its sales quite a bit.
The Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be a three-row SUV, though it won’t be huge. It will technically be classified as a midsize SUV, like the Hyundai Sonata or Santa Fe. Hyundai says it will be “family focused,” and about the same size as the best-selling Hyundai Palisade. The Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be just one of many electric vehicles Hyundai plans to release in the next few years.
The Hyundai Seven concept vehicle will be revealed at the AutoMobility LA press conference on November 17, 2021. It will be on display at the show until November 28, 2021.
When is the Hyundai Ioniq 7 release date?
Right now it appears that the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be released in 2024, but it’s possible that we’ll see it sometime in 2023, if all goes well. The Hyundai Ioniq 7 release date is part of Hyundai’s plan to roll out 23 battery-operated electric vehicles by 2025. They want to have 10 electric cars in the United States by 2022.
Other Hyundais in the Hyundai Ioniq lineup may be released sooner. The Hyundai Ioniq 5, which is a smaller crossover similar to the Hyundai Ioniq 7, will be available in the winter of 2021. There’s also a Hyundai Ioniq 6, though that isn’t yet available in the United States. While it was supposed to be available by 2022, it now appears that it may be delayed, as are many vehicles.
The Hyundai Ioniq 7 interior will be super nice
The interior of the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be incredibly nicer. According to renderings of the Hyundai SEVEN, the concept version of the Hyundai Ioniq 7, the interior of the Ioniq 7 will be almost lounge-like. It will have cruelty free fabric instead of leather, and wood paneling. It’s also possible that the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will have a “vision roof” instead of a traditional sunroof or moon roof. A vision roof is like a double-sunroof that gives a nearly uninterrupted view of the sky.
In addition, the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will have some pretty cool exterior features as well, like a front lighting arrangement known as Parametric Pixels. It may have a fingerprint authenticator and in some countries it may have virtual mirrors. Currently virtual mirrors are illegal in the United States.
If you’ve been hoping for an SUV that could fit your large family, the Hyundai Ioniq 7 just may be it. With seating up to seven and 300 miles of range, it might be exactly what families across the United States have been waiting for. Now they’ll have to wait just a little bit longer, until the Hyundai Ioniq 7 makes its appearance in 2024.
