The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is the best American-made SUV 

Congradulated the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe for ranking as the best American-made SUV. It was named the best U.S.-Built SUV by American Cars and Racing. 

This award goes to the best new or significantly updated model-year vehicles that are assembled in the United States. 

The American Cars and Racing team determines the winning car, truck, SUV, sports car, and luxury vehicle based on its innovation, appeal, value, and overall excellence. Plus, the new Santa Fe is built in Montgomery Alabama.

Hyundai also has its headquarters in California, R&D facilities, and is building a massive new plant in Savannah, Georgia. Along with its 835 independent dealers, Hyundai contributes 190,000 jobs and $20.1 billion annually to the U.S. economy. 

But what’s so great about the Santa Fe? Well, just take a look at its new, boxy, and confident square design. It departed from the outgoing model’s sleek curves to return to its rugged roots while providing more for families.

It has a longer wheelbase to improve its ride quality and to provide more space. Along with increasing passenger and cargo room, it has a standard third row. 

Every aspect it intelligently designed to provide performance and convenience. For example, the rear hatch opens as wide as possible to provide a better view of nature and to simplify loading bulky items. 

There is a handle on both sides of the SUV for easy roof access and a UV light sanitizer above the glove box. Each row has air vents and plenty of USB ports too. 

It starts with an MSRP of $33,950 and the $1,395 destination fee takes the starting price up to $35,345. The top-spec Calligraphy fee takes the price up to $47,895. 

Each model includes a solid list of safety and tech features. Plus, the standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 277 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque packs a hefty punch. The turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine provides 177 hp. 

Just watch, because this SUV is about to storm the roadways.
