The 2024 Jeep Gladiator Nighthawk Wants to Lure Buyers Back
Most new trucks have a waiting period of a few weeks to months. However, you may have noticed that Jeep Gladiator models are piling up as the Jeep truck faces a sales decline. Now the 2024 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk is here to attract buyers with a sinister look and enhanced off-road equipment.
What is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk?
The 2024 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk is a limited edition package that’s fit for Batman. It adds dark features and a few off-roading upgrades to the entry-level Gladiator Sport trim.
Cosmetic upgrades include a body-colored hard top and fender flairs. It also features back rock rails, a black bumper, tinted windows, and 20-inch gloss black wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires.
Mechanical and convenience upgrades include power locks/windows, remote keyless entry, heated mirrors, Dana 44 front and rear axles with a 3.73:1 ratio, and a limited-slip differential.
The NightHawk package isn’t just available with black paint. It can be paired with Anvil, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Hydro Blue, and White.
However, the Gladiator NightHaw package is limited to the automatic transmission, which is a bummer for those who want to enter the dark side manually.
You can get started with the NightHawk package for 5,295. If you like it, don’t hesitate because only 2,000 models are being made. The order banks are open now.
Also, it was a nice touch for the NightHawk to make its debut during the total solar eclipse. It gives it some born-in-darkness vibes.
Is the Gladiator NightHawk worth it?
While the 2024 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk does add a lot of convenience features and a unique look, let’s break down its cost and features.
The standard Gladiator Sport starts with an MSRP of $37,895 and the $1,895 destination fee takes the price up to $39,790. Adding the NghtHawk package increases the total to $45,085.
It’s a hefty increase, however, the Sport only has a soft top, manual locks/windows, and 17-inch steel wheels.
You can upgrade to the Willy’s trim for $47,485 with the destination included. It features power windows/locks, rock rails, a limited-slip differential, Dana 44 axels, and other features for towing and comfort.
But upgrading to this trim costs $7,695. So, you could save with the NightHawk package if you don’t need the tow package, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED headlight, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and enhanced tech from the Willy’s model.
Another way to save with off-roading upgrades is the add the Max Tow package to the Gladiator Sport for $1,995. It comes with Dana 44 axles, a 4.10 axle ratio, an anti-spin differential, two-piece back fender flares, and a 240 amp alternator.
What else is new for the 2024 Gladiator?
Aside from the 2024 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk package, the current model gained a slight mid-cycle refresh, The grille was shortened to make room for a Warn winch.
The interior has been improved with better sound insulation materials and the air vents were strategically moved to provide more comfort.
An antenna is built into the windshield to prevent it from getting nagged on tree limbs or other obstacles. There’s a new shade of paint called Anvil and tons of new wheel designs.
The Rubicon X and Mojave X trims have ultra-luxurious features such as a water-proof 12-way adjustable driver’s seat.
A larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen replaces the old one and is designed to still be visible in the sunlight. Also, side curtain airbags for the front and rear passengers are standard across the lineup.
