The 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto takes the iconic brand into uncharted territory. It’s the first production Lamborghini with over 1,000 horsepower. Oh, and it’s a hybrid. But even more wild than its big power and even bigger presence is its smile-inducing “BAR mode.”

The 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto will flex at your favorite pub or club with a dedicated “BAR mode”

It’s the latest Lamborghini in a long line of eye-popping, world-class supercars: the hybrid Revuelto. And it’s quite the lineup of predecessors: Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, Aventador, and Huracán. Each one dramatic, each one attention-grabbing.

However, the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto has a fun little feature up its sleeve that you won’t find on the brand’s past supercars. Thumbing the button with an in-profile image of a wing will put the Revuelto into something called “BAR mode.” Oh, yes, it’s just as it sounds. But it’s not a barometric pressure reference or some technical acronym. No, no. It’s a bar. Like your favorite watering hole.

Lamborghini realizes that the 2024 Revuelto is itself a flex. I mean, why else does anyone purchase a $600,000 hybrid supercar? For the joy of driving and the sheer presence of such a car.

Well, the Italian brand isn’t expressly condoning drinking and driving. Of course not. No, the BAR mode is a stylish flex intended to wow onlookers at the bar or your favorite bar/restaurant district. However, rather than working in lights and music like Tesla’s “Celebration Mode,” the Revuelto simply raises its aggressively styled wing.

Of course, the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto isn’t the only car with an attention-grabbing gimmick. For instance, the latest S650 Ford Mustang GT offers a remote revving facility that drivers can activate from the key fob. Maybe not as much useful as it is whimsical. But, what’s life without a bit of fun?
