The 2024 Nissan Rouge Sports an Attractive Makeover
It might be time to reconsider and underdog. The Nissan Rogue might not be as popular as the Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V, but it has been working to make a tremendous comeback. The 2024 Nissan Rogue sweetens the deal with a fresh look and substantial upgrades.
2024 Nissan Rogue: What’s new?
The 2024 Nissan Rogue got a mid-cycle refresh that includes a revised face. The headlights, grille, and front bumper have been updated to provide a modern and confident style. The most noticeable change includes the horizontal bars in the grille.
Plus, the rear end is refreshed as well with a restyled bumper, taillights, and tailgate. The Rogue rides on new tire options as well.
The interior has been revamped to provide a slightly more convenient layout. An 8.0-inch touchscreen comes standard, but an available 12.3-inch unit replaces the outgoing 9.0-inch screen.
The screen is powered by a new Google-based infotainment system. It provides access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play without having to pair your phone.
But wireless Apple Carlay and Android Auto are standard if you would prefer to use your phone. Also, you get a complimentary three-year subscription to Nissan Connect.
Each Rogue is proved by the turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with 201 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque. You can add AWD for $1,500. When properly equipped, the Rogue can tow up to 1,500 lbs. Rival SUVs like the RAV4 can tow up to 3,500 lbs.
The 2023 Rogue gets an EPA-estimated 30 mpg in the city and up to 37 mpg on the highway. Adding AWD reduces these figures to 28 and 35 mpg. The EPA estimates for 2024 haven’t been released, but will probably be similar.
Also, the 2024 Rogue starts at $28,320. The 2023 model starts at $27,360, so there’s a year-over-year increase of $960.
The $1,365 destination fee takes the starting price up to $29,685. The top-spec Platinum trim takes the price up to $39,965 with the destination fee included.
Along with updated tech and a fresh style, the Rogue provides a smooth, comfortable ride, plush seats, a massive cargo area, an upscale interior, and a long list of standard driving aids. It’s an excellent bargain to consider.
