The 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Limited Edition Has a Completely Bonkers Interior
The Toyota Tundra is already one of the more popular trucks on the market for its intrepid reliability, simple design, and killer performance. With the addition of the 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Limited Edition, there is another thing to make the Tundra more popular: leather, lots and lots of leather. Thanks to the limited edition trim, the Tundra has a completely bonkers interior.
What makes the 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Limited Edition special?
Several things differentiate the 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Limited Edition from other Tundras. The 1794 Limited Edition has special badging, upgraded off-road bits, and an insane leather interior, and it’s limited to only 1,500 examples. While the suspension upgrades are pretty cool (we’ll circle back to that), the main feature is the incredible leather interior.
Is the 2024 Tundra 1794 Edition interior really that nice?
Yes. It is. Toyota has opened the leather floodgates, and the waters, as it were, flooded the interior of the Tundra. Not only did Toyota cover the Tundra interior with leather, but it is covered in premium leather that will make other limited interiors feel cheap and pedestrian.
Toyota partnered with Saddleback Leather Company, which was a hell of a call. Saddleback has been making premium leather products at the highest level for years. They not only know leather but they understand good style too. To that end, Saddleback added the belted pocket from its signature bag onto the back of the driver and passenger seat. As a bonus, owners receive some matching swag from the Saddleback Leather Company, like a large overnight bag, tool roll, owners’ portfolio, key glove (a functional leather pouch for your key fob), and another small pouch. All of these accessories have 1794 Limited Edition embossing that matches that truck’s production number.
Not only are the seats covered in this beautiful Saddleback-sourced leather, but the dash, door inserts, and most other areas of the truck are, too.
Is the 1794 Tundra good off-road?
The 1794 Limited Edition is different than the regular 1794 Edition Tundra. The limited 1,500-unit run is the only one getting the leather interior and the added suspension upgrades.
The 1794 Limited Edition isn’t just a fancy new interior; it also has some new 2.5-inch Fox internal bypass shocks with piggyback reservoirs and a 1.1-inch lift, with off-road wheels and tires from the TRD Pro. Lastly, it also gets a dark chrome grille and body side moldings, black-out exterior accents, unique badges, and a special stamped tailgate.
Even though it is hard to imagine someone taking a truck off-road covered in premium leather and likely costing close to $70k+, the 1794 Limited Edition Tundra certainly has the chops. Although Toyota hasn’t announced pricing yet, if the regular 1794 Edition starts at $64,100, then we can assume the Limited Edition will, at minimum, be several thousand dollars more expensive.
