The 2025 Chevy Equinox Just Got an Attractive Makeover
You need to take off your sunglasses to see an incredible makeover truly. You might not recognize the Chevrolet Equinox because it received a glow-up. Check out the new and improved 2025 Chevy Equinox.
2025 Chevy Equinox: What’s new?
The 2025 Chevy Equinox kicks off the fifth generation with a hot new style. The grille, headlights, and body lines resemble current Chevrolet truck models and the Chevy Traverse.
Overall, it has a boxier shape that’s rugged and athletic to bolster confidence and versatility. It’s now 2.5 inches wider for a broad stance and to improve stability.
The RS trim is ready to race with black badging, black mirror caps, a contrasting black roof, a wider grille, a high gloss finish on the grille bar and lower facia, and 19-inch Carbon Flash machined aluminum wheels. 20-inch wheels are also available.
The new Active trim features a white contrasting roof, a unique grille style, and 17-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Unfortunately, this is mostly just an appearance package. Also, the LT model has standard chrome and Midnight Edition High Gloss Black grille finishes.
You’ll notice that the interior has been revamped with a more modern and upscale design with textured materials, leather-wrapped surfaces, metal brushed accents, contrast stitching in blue and red, and an available flat-bottom steering wheel.
The Equinox has a standard 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster with an 11.3-inch vertically oriented infotainment screen. A wireless charging pad is available.
By moving to an electronic precision gear shifter, Chevrolet was able to provide more storage space in the cabin. The center console is larger with more space in the front of it. Plus, there’s a hidden storage compartment on the floor of the rear.
Heated seats and a heated steering wheel come standard. You can opt for available ventilated seats and heated rear seats.
Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian/bicyclist braking, a following distance indicator, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, IntelliBeam, and Teen Driver tech.
The Equinox has a standard 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with 175 hp. Adding all-wheel drive provides an Off-Road mode and the Equinox can tow up to 1,500 lbs.
Pricing for the 2025 Equinox hasn’t been revealed yet. The 2024 model has an MSRP of $26,600. We can see the price getting closer to the $30,000 mark. Stay tuned for updates.
