Fisker recently released a teaser image of the Ronin, an all-electric sports car. The Ronin will be Fisker’s third production EV, following the Ocean and Pear crossover SUVs. Find out what we know so far about the release date, price, and specs of the 2025 Fisker Ronin.

When will the 2025 Fisker Ronin EV be available?

The 2025 Fisker Ronin EV sports car should hit the market in the second half of 2024. It should make its formal debut in August 2023.

How much is the 2025 Fisker Ronin?

Fisker didn’t yet release the price or trim information of the 2025 Ronin. However, Car and Driver estimates that the Ronin will have a starting MSRP of $80,000. The automotive site also speculated about possible Ronin trims, with the following estimated starting prices:

  • Sport: $80,000
  • Ultra: $90,000
  • Extreme: $100,000
  • One: $100,000

2025 Fisker Ronin specs: Electric motors, driving range, and 0-60 mph acceleration

Fisker has been light on specifics about the 2025 Ronin EV sports car. However, in a recent Instagram post, Henrik Fisker, the founder and CEO of Fisker, said that the Ronin will have three electric motors with an all-wheel drive system. He also said the Ronin will have a driving range of 600 miles and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 2.0 seconds. 

Those are eye-opening specs. Currently, the electric vehicle with the longest driving range is the Lucid Air — with 520 miles of range. With this in mind, the targeted 600-mile range for the Ronin is very ambitious. Fisker claims that the Ronin will “have an innovative battery design that incorporates the battery pack into the structure of the vehicle.” This new battery pack design will undoubtedly be a factor in the electric sports car achieving the high driving range.

The acceleration of the Ronin is very impressive as well. Its targeted 2.0-second 0-60 mph time would rival that of the other quick cars like the Tesla Model S Plaid, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and Porsche 911 Turbo S. 

2025 Fisker Ronin design: What does it look like?

To date, there is only one official image of the 2025 Fisker Ronin. It shows a sleek four-door grand touring sports car convertible. Fisker stated that the Ronin will “feature active aerodynamics and lightweight materials.” The EV automaker also revealed that Ronin “will have unique doors that improve ingress and egress” and “a luxurious, sustainable vegan interior.” 

Fisker didn’t state what kind of sustainable materials the interior of the Ronin will have. However, the Ocean electric crossover SUV uses recycled fishing nets and other recycled plastics. 

What does the name Ronin mean for the Fisker Ronin?

The Fisker Ronin takes its name from the 1998 action film Ronin. Starring Robert De Niro, Ronin is noteworthy for its “realistic car chases featuring European sedans sliding around Paris and the French countryside.”
