The 2025 Honda Pilot Black Edition Is an Attractive Bargain
You don’t have to spend a lot of extra cash to make one SUV more attractive with a hint of sinister darkness. The Honda Pilot Black Edition is making a triumphant return after being dropped. See how the 2025 Honda Pilot Black Edition is better than before.
How much does the 2025 Honda Pilot Black Edition cost?
The 2025 Honda Pilot Black Edition is the new range-topping trim starts at $55,675 with the $1,395 destination fee included. The Pilot Elite model starts at $54,175, so it’s only $1,500 to upgrade and join the dark side.
Also, while I’m talking about prices, the entry-level Pilot Sport model starts at $41,295. So, it costs $12,800 to go from the basics to all the bells and whistles. Also, the Pilot starts at $2,810 more than the outgoing model, and the basic LX trim was dropped.
When the 2023 Pilot was redesigned, the Black Edition was dropped and the new TrailSport trim was added. Now the Black Edition is back with dark luxurious touches.
The Pilot Back Edition rides on black 20-inch wheels, has blacked-out badging, and features tons of black accents. The grille, mirror housings, and door trims are you guessed it, BLACK.
Plus, the interior features a black steering wheel with red accent stitching, deep red tinted leather seats with black edges, black door panels, and red accent lighting.
It builds upon the Pilot Elite trim with lavish features such as a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, a head-up display, a 360-degree surround view monitor, heated seats in the second row, and standard AWD.
The Honda Pilot features a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine with 285 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and can tow up to 5,000 lbs.
Without AWD, the Pilot can tow up to 3,500 lbs. AWD is standard on the TrailSport and Elite models and can be added to lower trims for 2,100.
There aren’t any other significant updates to note about the 2025 model. It still feels fresh and modern after being completely redesigned for 2023.
