The 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten Takes Luxury to the Next Level
Get ready to ride with extra style because the Ram 1500 Tungsten is back. The Tungsten title has been used in previous Ram trucks, but now it takes the lavish upgrades to a whole new level. Check out what comes with the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten.
What comes with the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten?
The 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten starts the party with a refreshed look. The 2025 Ram 1500 rocks a mid-cycle refresh with a larger grille and fewer trim pieces. The LED headlights have a modern style, and the rear end seems unchanged.
Other trim levels have interior cosmetic changes, but the Tungsten is unique with an Indigo and Sea Salt color palette. The leather-covered interior features a lavish suede headliner and quilted leather Natura Plus leather front seats.
The seats are heated, ventilated, and massaging with memory functions. They offer 24-way power adjustment with four-way power headrests
On the center console, you’ll find a metal plaque with diamond curling that lists the trim level and your VIN. It has a faux crystal shifter and metal pedals.
Tech upgrades include a dual wireless phone charging pad, a 14.5-inch infotainment system, and an ultra-premium 23-speaker Klipsch Reference Premier audio system. It cranks out 1,288 watts and is paired with a 12-inch subwoofer.
How much power does the 2025 Ram 1500 have?
The 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten will probably come with the higher output version of the new Hurricane engine. The twin-turbocharged charged 3.0-liter inline-six engine is replacing the beloved V8 HEMI.
The standard variant provides 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The High Output option produces 540 hp and 521 lb-ft of torque. It can tow up to 11,580 lbs, carry a payload of up to 2,300 lbs, and ford water up to 24 inches.
It joins the existing 3.6-liter V6 engine with 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine could be discontinued. Also, say goodbye to the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque.
This engine was reserved for the incredibly capable Ram 1500 TRX, which could be replaced by the upcoming Ram 1500 RHO model.
The hurricane engines are paired with the existing eight-speed automatic transmission. The Hurricane engines are designed to provide an optimal performance while improving the fuel economy.
This engine is a deep-skirt cast aluminum block with a structural alloy aluminum oil pan, cross-bolted steel main bearing caps, a forged steel crankshaft, and forged steel connecting rods.
How much will the Ram 1500 Tungsten cost?
Pricing hasn’t been released for the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten yet. However, the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup is expected to be available during the first quarter of 2024. Pricing will be released closer to when these trucks go on sale.
The 2024 Ram 1500 Limited is currently the most luxurious trim level, and it starts at about $64,960. So, we can estimate that the Tungsten will start around $65,000 or higher. It’s going after the Toyota Tundra Capstone, which starts at $74,230.
At least it might be more affordable than the 2025 Ram 1500 REV Tungsten model, which is expected to crest $100,000. We don’t expect the Ramcharger to have a Tungsten trim level, but it may surprise us.
Stay tuned as we continue obsessing over Ram truck news. Do you think the Tungsten will be a hit or an expensive miss?
