The Chevrolet Trax is an SUV with all-wheel drive under $25,000

Even though the 2022 Chevrolet Trax only costs $22,020, it has plenty to offer. U.S. News says the Trax is fun to drive and has plenty of easy-to-use technology. With a 155 hp engine, buyers can opt for front or all-wheel drive. Chevy’s Trax is tiny, which helps when trying to park in small places.

A seven-inch touchscreen capable of using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto comes standard. Chevrolet’s new infotainment system makes changing songs or other settings easy. A Wi-Fi hotspot, two USB ports, and Bluetooth are also included.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration even gave the 2022 Trax a five-star safety rating. If you have any room in the budget, try to add blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.

Mazda’s CX-30 SUV comes with all-wheel drive and is under $25,000

Critics and drivers agree that the 2022 Mazda CX-30 is fun to drive. It offers 227 hp with its turbo engine, and all-wheel drive is standard. Included with the CX-30 is a digital gauge cluster, an infotainment system with an eight-inch screen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Mazda also equipped the CX-30 with two USB ports to keep you charged and ready.

Some standard features include automatic high-beam headlights, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control is also included. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 2022 Mazda CX-30 a five-star safety rating. Try to add adaptive headlights and the surround-view parking camera system if you can.

Don’t overlook the Kia Seltos sport utility vehicle

You might want to reconsider if you didn’t think the 2022 Kia Seltos offered a good value. Starting at $22,590, buyers get 146 hp from the base engine. Upgrading to the turbocharged four-cylinder brings 175 and 195 lb-ft of torque. Only the S model comes with front-wheel drive, so all-wheel drive is easy to come by.

The Seltos has plenty of room in the cargo area, even for a subcompact SUV. Some standard driver assistance features include lane departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, and forward collision warning. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 2022 Kia Seltos high scores on its crash tests. With the better LED reflector headlights, it received the Top Safety Pick award.
