Every group of experts has a way of ranking vehicles, but MotorTrend gave the 2023 Lexus UX its highest score. With an overall cost of $35,340 for the base model, the UX gets 43 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway. This year, Lexus only offers the UX as a hybrid. However, that doesn’t come as a negative with the sport utility vehicle.

As one of the best Lexus SUVs, it does get the F-Sport option. This adds better steering and power, but it isn’t necessary to make the 2023 UX a good choice. The new Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 has a long list of active safety features standard. These include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and forward collision warning.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the SUV a five-star safety rating. In addition, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety made it a Top Safety Pick winner.

Next up is the compact 2023 Lexus NX. Starting at $38,605 this year, the NX gets 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway for the base model. It gets two hybrid and two more gasoline options for the powertrain, making it suitable for many drivers. Lexus also updated the aging infotainment system, which makes changing settings a breeze and adds to why the NX is one of the best Lexus SUVs.

This compact crossover has plenty of features and systems that add to its value. Another comfortable SUV, drivers can select front or all-wheel drive. It gets Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which adds adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, and road sign assist.
