Ford’s Mustang Mach-E is an electric SUV with 200 miles of range

Since the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E hit the dealerships, drivers have enjoyed driving the all-electric SUV. Edmunds says the Mach-E does an excellent job of balancing performance and daily driving. Ford’s newest infotainment system is easy-to-use and has been improved for the new year.

EPA estimates for the 2023 Mustang Mach-E sit between 224 and 314 miles. During testing, Edmunds found that the Mustang Mach-E GT had a range of 272 miles, costing around $70 a month to charge up. An extended-range battery is available, as is all-wheel drive on some trims.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is another electric SUV with 200 miles of range

For the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5, a comfortable ride and range of over 200 miles comes easy. The interior is user-friendly, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 can even tow up to 2,300 pounds with most trim levels. A new battery-heating system comes standard on rear-wheel drive models, and the estimated range increased to 266 miles for all-wheel drive versions. The standard-range battery is 58 kWh, while the other options get a 77.4-kWh pack.

Edmunds estimates it would cost about $59 a month to power the Ioniq 5 Limited. This version returned 270 miles of range during testing, but some trim levels exceed 300 miles. The Ioniq 5 was comfortable to drive around town, and the amount of regenerative braking it uses can be adjusted.

Kia’s EV6 EV has a good warranty

For those who haven’t seen the 2023 Kia EV6 yet, it has plenty of room in the front and back. Drivers report that the EV6 offers a fun ride and has the fast-charging capability to keep you on the road. Kia offers the 2023 EV6 with a 77.4 kWh battery pack for all options, and the EPA-estimated range is between 206 and 310 miles.

Edmunds estimates the 2023 Kia EV6 will cost around $50 to drive the electric Kia monthly. The EV6 GT also returned 323 miles in testing, which blows past the 310 miles estimates by the EPA. Kia’s warranty is another benefit, offering a 10-year, 100,000-mile drivetrain warranty that covers the battery pack.
