The 2023 Porsche 911 sits low to the ground, which commonly hampers riders’ ability to enter or exit the vehicle. However, Porsche 911 owners don’t have any complaints in this department for the two- or four-seat models. The Coupe and Cabriolet can fit only two riders, while the 911 Targa body style adds two back seats.
In addition, the seating is geared toward comfort, and even the base model has leather-trimmed seats. U.S. News reviewers report that the Targa model’s rear seats are the only ones lacking proper support. They’re tiny, so they can’t accommodate most adults in reasonable comfort.
You can also swap out the stock seats for sportier ones, which are standard in every Turbo model. The adaptive sports seats have 18-way power settings and a memory function that remembers custom positions for the seats and mirrors. There are also many attractive leather color options, some of which feature white stitching.
The cabin is expectedly driver-focused, but it still has no shortage of convenience technology and soft-touch surfaces. Today’s Porsche 911 models have built-in navigation and wireless smartphone integration, plus high-resolution digital displays for driver metrics and infotainment.

The Porsche 911 Targa’s extra seats might be better suited for cargo instead of passengers. The folks at Autoblog fit two carry-on bags inside the trunk. And with the rear seatbacks folded, they squeezed two suitcases and another carry-on bag into the back. However, because the Targa still has only two doors, loading and unloading the vehicle quickly takes some practice.
Regardless of which 2023 Porsche 911 model you choose, all provide superb performance. J.D. Power also gives this car high marks for reliability and resale value. Consumers and critics might disagree on the 911’s biggest strengths, but too much to love is never a bad thing.
