For those shopping for an all-wheel drive sedan, you’ll be pleased to know that this year’s model is available with it. However, according to U.S. News, opting for an all-wheel drive Toyota Camry will cost you. In fact, you can expect to spend an extra $1,400 for a new Camry with all-wheel drive.

The good news is that the Camry is a fuel-efficient car. Although it’s also available as a hybrid, the EPA reports that the non-hybrid Camry delivers an EPA-estimated 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. And if that’s not quite fuel efficient enough for you? U.S. News added, “If you can do without all-wheel drive, the Camry Hybrid will save you nearly $1,000 per year in fuel costs compared with the non-hybrid all-wheel-drive Camry.”

The 2022 Nissan Altima is a fuel-efficient sedan under $30,000

Perhaps the 2022 Toyota Camry isn’t the best all-wheel drive sedan under $30,000 for you. If that’s the case, look to the new Altima. The 2022 Nissan Altima is another all-wheel drive sedan on U.S. News’ list with good fuel economy ratings. 

The Altima provides 28 mpg for city driving, 39 mpg for highway driving, and a combined mpg of 34, reports U.S. News. Even better, this fuel-efficient midsize sedan doesn’t require premium gasoline. 

As for how much the 2022 Nissan Altima will cost you? The Nissan Altima starts at $25,290. However, to get an all-wheel drive Nissan Altima, you must step up to the SV model, which starts at $26,090. For all-wheel drive, U.S. News reports, you can expect to pay an additional $1,400 on top of that. 

The 2022 Subaru Legacy comes standard with all-wheel drive

If you’re wondering which trim of the Subaru Legacy has the all-wheel drive that you seek, the good news is that all of them do, even the base model. And, with a base price of $24,395, that’s pretty hard to beat.

Not to mention, according to U.S. News, the new Subaru Legacy offers an EPA-estimated 35 mpg for highway driving, 27 mpg for city driving, and a combination of 31 miles per gallon. Overall, U.S. News reports, “The base Legacy should suffice for most drivers, and it comes at a bargain price, especially considering the standard all-wheel drive.”
