The list of the longest-lasting cars, trucks, and SUVs was comprised mainly of Toyota trucks and SUVs, but Honda had many sport utility vehicles on there too. Two of the Honda SUVs that will last 250,000 miles or more are still on the market in 2023, but one blast from the past hasn’t been available for a decade or more. Which sport utility vehicle is your best bet for joining the Guinness World Record book for high-mileage Hondas?

What Honda SUV will last 250,000 miles?

According to iSeeCars, the Honda Pilot has a 42.7% chance of hitting 250,000 miles or more. On the list of the top 23 cars, trucks, and SUVs, Honda’s Pilot vehicle proved to be one of the best options. The Pilot is Honda’s midsize sport utility vehicle with three rows, which makes it a spacious option for shoppers. While a new version can start at $43,648 or more, a three-year-old Pilot goes for $38,625 on average. The Pilot received a reliability score of 8.6, landing it in the top 10 for reliable three-row SUVs.

Even though the Honda Element is not on the market anymore, it still landed on the list of Honda SUVs that will last 250,000 miles or more. That silly and square SUV has a 27.8% chance of hitting 250,000 miles, 2.4 times the average vehicle. People liked the Honda for its funky shape and huge trunk area, which made it a versatile option for drivers.

There are many cheap examples on the market for the Honda, with most ranging from $3,000 to $9,000 or so. Honda has not made the Element since 2011, meaning most of the options out there already have quite a few miles on the odometer. There is a 2007 Honda Element LX listed for $2,995 with 293,411 miles on it. If you are trying to make the Guinness World Record for the highest-mileage Honda Element, that could be an excellent place to start.

How many miles can a Honda CRV last?

Honda’s CR-V is one of its more popular SUVs still available in 2023. The CR-V is compact but still has plenty of room for five passengers and everyone’s cargo. A new Honda CR-V will run you around $31,584 on average, while a three-year-old option has an average price of $31,407. That isn’t a typo; this Honda SUV holds its value reasonably well.

Two Honda sedans made the list of longest-lasting passenger cars: the Accord and the Civic. Honda’s Accord sedan had a 27.1% chance of hitting 250,000 miles, while the Civic came in at 14.7%.

These are some of the Honda SUVs that will last 250,000 miles or more, but there are many reliable Hondas on the market. 250,000 is the newest goal, as so many vehicles were hitting 200,000 miles easily. Since reliability is such an important factor when selecting any new or used vehicle, these Honda SUVs should offer a stress-free ownership experience.
