The 2022 Lexus LC Hybrid

The LC Hybrid’s bold styling makes it one of the most attractive luxury vehicles that isn’t actually a supercar, though its unique grille styling may be polarizing to some. 

The hybrid powertrain has a 3.5L V6 engine that generates 354 hp and gets 26 /34 mpg city/highway. Car Buzz notes that on a full tank, you should be able to get up to 644 miles of range. It comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission, RWD, and 20-inch wheels. Thanks to optional enhancements like a limited-slip differential, it provides a sportier performance than many other luxury hybrids.

The cabin suffers a bit from a lack of storage space, although the seats are plush, and the interior trim is as refined as you’d expect at this price point. Inside, you’ll also find a 10.3-inch infotainment screen compatible with Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. There are also leather seating upholstery options, a premium audio system available, and quite a few advanced safety features that come standard. For those looking to further personalize their Lexus LC Hybrid, the Bespoke Build option allows buyers to customize everything from the wheel design to roof material. Expect that trim to take you over $113,000.

The 2022 Lexus LS Hybrid

Unsurprisingly, you can also expect to pay over six figures for another Lexus hybrid – the 2022 Lexus LS Hybrid. While the base price of the standard LS is just $77,250, you can expect to pay $113,050 for its hybrid variant, per TrueCar.

Like the LC Hybrid, the LS 500h AWD comes with a 3.5L V6 engine that gets you 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. It rides on 19-inch wheels and enjoys solid build quality for its segment. The interior is configured according to Japanese artisanal principles, while the chassis is engineered to absorb shocks and jolts.

The LS hybrid has a robust complement of standard features, including built-in navigation and a 12.3-inch touchscreen that integrates well with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 2022 Acura NSX Type S

While you’ll pay a bit over $100,000 for either Lexus model, you’ll pay closer to $200,000 for the 2022 Acura NSX. However, it may be worth it. The 2022 Acura NSX Type S is actually a supercar with a hybrid powertrain. While it may not have the brand cachet of a Porsche 911 or Ford Mustang, 2022 is its last model year. So grabbing one now may prove to be a good investment.

Starting at $116,500, the NSX Type S sports a twin-turbo V6 engine and three electric motors – one to power the rear wheels and the other two to power the front ones, according to Kelley Blue Book.
