1. The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid starts at $29,550 with the $1,350 destination fee included. Plus, it comes with AWD to fight slippery conditions. 

With the Corolla Cross Hybrid, you get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 196 hp and 169 lb-ft of torque. It also gets an EPA-estimated 45 mpg in the city, up to 38 mpg on the highway, and 42 mpg combined. 

2. Next up is the 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid. If you want the Corolla Hybrid in classic car form, then you can save even more. 

The Corolla Hybrid starts at $24,595 including the $1,095 destination fee. It has a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 138 hp and 105 lb-ft of torque. 

It gets an EPA-estimated 32 mpg in the city, up to 41 mpg on the highway, and up to 35 mpg combined. 

3. Last, but not least, we have another Toyota car. The 2024 Toyota Prius is another hybrid car with over 40 mpg and AWD for under $30,000. 

The 2024 Toyota Prius starts at $29,045 including the $1,095 destination fee. It’s powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to generate 194 hp and 134 lb-ft of torque. 

It gets an EPA-estimated 57 mpg in the city, up to 56 mpg on the highway, and 57 mpg combined. It’s the most fuel-efficient option on this list. 

You may have noticed that the Ford Maverick Hybrid isn’t listed. That’s because it isn’t available with AWD. But it does fall under $30,000 and gets at least 40 mpg to the gallon.
