3 Reasons the 2023 Ford Maverick Beats the 2022 Maverick
The 2022 Ford Maverick took the truck segment by storm. As a small pickup, it has been popular due to its standard hybrid engine and affordable pricing. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that it looks good and offers things like the FX4 Off-Road package for improved capability. Now, there’s a new Maverick on the block in the form of the 2023 model. And it does bring some legitimate improvements to this compact truck.
The 2023 Ford Maverick is more rugged
If you’re after a small, off-road truck, the 2023 Maverick has the answer. The Blue Oval is now offering an optional Tremor package. You might be familiar with the FX4 package, but the Tremor will take things to the next level. If you get a Maverick Tremor, your compact pickup will get a one-inch lift, revised suspension, and even a new all-wheel drive system. Because of this, you should be ready to take the road less traveled.
In terms of cost, the Tremor package will add about $3k to your purchase. And you can only get this package on the 2023 Maverick XLT or the 2023 Maverick Lariat. So don’t expect to get a base Maverick with this option.
The 2023 Maverick is newer
If you want a new truck but don’t want something full-size like the F-150, the Maverick is likely ideal. Although the 2022 Ford Maverick seems like it was just released, the 2023 Maverick is now the new kid on the block. There aren’t a lot of huge changes to this compact pickup. But it is sure to continue to be a popular option.
It is worth noting that the 2023 Maverick adds a Tremor appearance package as well. This option will change the roof and mirror caps with grey paint. Plus, you will get special graphics on your small truck.
The 2023 Ford Maverick is more popular
The 2022 Ford Maverick first went on sale in the fall of 2021. According to Fox News, Ford had to close retail orders in January of 2022. If you want a 2023 Maverick, it seems like folks are already having trouble attempting to buy one. Although, Ford has not closed orders yet. Still, considering that the Blue Oval just opened order banks for the new Maverick, it’s wild that the brand is already struggling to keep up.
We don’t yet have specific numbers on 2023 Maverick sales. But, judging by the current climate and the new Tremor option, it looks like the 2023 version could be more popular than the 2022.
Buying Ford’s small truck feels impossible
If you are interested in a 2023 Ford Maverick, that makes sense. It’s lining up to be a very popular pickup truck. But, it seems like Ford is already encountering issues dealing with demand.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Ford is forced to close customer orders soon. So if you really want a new Maverick, it might be best to act quickly. That way, you do not miss out on this small pickup truck.
