The 2023 Honda CR-V comes with better standard tech
When it comes to modern vehicles, tech is everything for American drivers. Automakers are constantly refreshing nameplates as technology advances at a quicker rate than ever before. This means a higher demand for advanced safety and driver assistance features and more infotainment real estate than ever before. Some vehicles have over a foot of infotainment screen space.
The 2022 Honda CR-V came standard with a small 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The 2023 Honda CR-V features a larger standard 7.0-inch infotainment system. The difference may not be huge, but since most drivers use their infotainment systems daily, the upgrade is a welcome new addition.
The new Honda CR-V now also comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Smartphone connectivity is a must for new model years in an age where drivers have a near-symbiotic relationship with their cell phones. Even the infotainment system’s menu structure has been updated to improve the user experience.
Upper trim level 2023 CR-V models include 9.0-inch touchscreens, wireless smartphone charging, and wireless smartphone mirroring. The 2023 Honda CR-V is a major improvement over the previous model because it is much more technologically advanced.

New CR-Vs come standard with Honda Sensing, Honda’s suite of safety features. They also come with standard blind-spot warning, a driver monitoring system, and a rear-seat reminder system. It features rear-sear belt reminders as well.
The 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid got a big power boost
Hybrid SUVs are much more popular than they were just a few years ago. The 2023 Honda CR-V features Honda’s new fourth-generation hybrid system. The new CR-V Hybrid uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to make 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque.
