What standard features will you get with the 2024 Lexus UX Hybrid?

With plenty of SUVs on the market at a relatively low price, it’s hard to beat the Lexus UX Hybrid’s price because, for $36,000, you get a lot of features, whereas the non-luxury vehicles offer much less. 

All four trim levels come with a 2.0-liter Inline-four engine combined with the Lexus Hybrid Drive producing a total of 181 hp. Paired with it is an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission. 

With this combination, the Lexus UX Hybrid is able to go from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 8.4 seconds. You’ll also get FWD standard and for $1,400 more, you can add AWD, according to Lexus.

As for fuel economy, the hybrid model can get 43 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway if you choose the front-wheel drive version. If you have the all-wheel drive model, you get two mpg less in the city and three mpg less on the highway. Cargo space offers 17.1 cubic feet of storage behind the rear seats. 

What each trim offers and what the Lexus UX Hybrid price is for each model

The base model, the Lexus UX 250h, starts at $36,690 and gets you synthetic leather upholstery, an eight-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a push-button start, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. For safety features, it has forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning. 

Upgrading to the 250h Premium model gets you all the standard features of the base and adds a hands-free power liftgate, rain-sensing wipers, and heated as well as ventilated front seats. The beginning price for this version is $39,150. 

Also, for $39,150, Lexus offers an F-Sport Design trim, which gets you all of the base model standard features and adds a moonroof as well as many exterior and interior sporty styling elements. 

The highest trim available for the hybrid model is the F-Sport Handling version. For $44,120, you get all standard features of the F-Sport Design as well as a sport-tuned suspension system, paddle shifter, sport-styled steering wheel, 10-speaker audio system, and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. 

What do experts think about the 2024 Lexus UX Hybrid?

U.S. News reviewers report there are three major parts to this vehicle that really impressed each one. The first was the number of standard features you get for relatively low prices, plus some, like blind-spot monitoring, come with it despite many rivals having as an available feature for higher trims. 

The second area that impressed was its easy-to-use infotainment system. The screen offers sharp graphics and is very responsive. Along with touch capability, the display also offers some physical controls as well. 

The last major area the reviewers liked is its fuel economy ratings. You get similar mpg figures for the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, which makes the UX a pretty strong competitor in the class. 

Lexus’ UX hybrid model still has its drawbacks, though. The U.S. News reviewers weren’t happy with its cramped rear seats, small cargo space (compared to some of its rivals), and its weaker powertrain in comparison to other luxury SUVs in the class.

All in all, the Lexus UX Hybrid is ranked pretty high among critics, despite a few of its disadvantages. With tons of standard features, great fuel economy, and easy to use infotainment system, you can’t go wrong with the affordable Lexus UX Hybrid price of all trims, especially the base.
