Robert Pattinson, heartthrob and star of the “Twilight” franchise, has a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. While that in itself isn’t a vehicular sin, Pattinson has a net worth of over $100 million. While many centi-millionaires spend big bucks on posh cars, Pattinson simply doesn’t.
Of course, the Chevy pickup isn’t the only vehicle in the Twilight star’s repertoire of rides; he also has a 1963 Chevrolet Nova.
Can Tina Fey drive?
Contrary to popular narrative, multiple-threat Tina Fey can drive. However, she is one of the celebrities who chooses not to drive. In fact, Fey jested about the dangers of dating men who care too much about cars in the comedy TV show “30 Rock.”
Does J.K. Rowling have a driver’s license?
A flying Ford Anglia might add a bit of automotive whimsy to J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world, but the author isn’t a licensed driver. In a 2017 social media post, Rowling admitted that she “[has] no spatial awareness, can’t work machinery & have a tenuous grasp on reality. It’s really best for everyone I don’t drive.” It’s certainly a light-hearted explanation for the celebrity’s lack of license.
Ricky Gervais is a comedian without a car
Ricky Gervais, a comedian and actor with a reputation for sarcasm and razor wit, isn’t shy about his lack of automotive enthusiasm. “I don’t drive, so I haven’t bought a flash car,” he once told interviewers, per People Magazine. It’s evidently clear that Gervais isn’t among the celebrities who love their cars.
