Porsche 718 Boxster

The Porsche 718 Boxster has always been known as one of the more affordable options in the Porsche lineup. That doesn’t mean it will leave you disappointed, however, because there is still a lot to enjoy when driving the new Boxster. The updated headlights make the convertible look more aggressive and modern. Combine that with the racing heritage of the Porsche name, and you can’t really go wrong.

Mazda MX-5

The Mazda MX-5 is already a popular option, and the 2020 model year was well anticipated. The car had already established itself in older generations for its affordable price tag and excellent handling. This year offered a hard-top automatic convertible that made the car as updated as it looks. Technically a front-mid-engine vehicle, there is a lot to brag about when it comes to the newest MX-5. With the press of a button, the top comes down, and you can be cruising through the mountains and soaking in the crisp autumn air.

BMW Z4

The BMW Z4 made a lot of headlines earlier this year, but not necessarily in a favorable way. There was much to do about nothing when it came to the BMW Z4 simply because it shared a platform with the long-awaited reboot of the famous Toyota Supra. On its own, however, the 2020 BMW Z4 is still a nicely-designed convertible with a lot to enjoy.

Fiat 124

The Fiat 124 is another affordable option. It shares a lot of common and desirable features with the Mazda MX-5. It’s not the fanciest, most luxurious option on this list, but it’s a great car if you value handling over power. In fact, between the handling of the car and how infrequent they are, they could potentially be the best convertible to grace this list. With a starting price of just over $25,000, the Fiat 124 is the perfect sports car for soaking up the scenery of changing leaves.
