Say what you will about the Batman movies, the Batmobile is easily one of the coolest cars to ever be in a movie. Not only is it beautiful and black as the night, but it’s fast and loaded with high-tech equipment too. It’s impossible to buy a Batmobile on the market, but many have made one at home. Here are four homemade Batmobiles that are just too awesome.

Bieber’s custom Batmobile

Many people may not like Justin Bieber, but he does have a good taste in cars. In fact, Bieber ordered a custom-made Batmobile just for himself. Bieber’s Batmobile is based on the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe and West Coast Customs helped put it together for him according to Hot Cars. 

Bieber’s Batmobile is all black, inside and out. It also has a powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine. That said, it doesn’t have the high-tech gear that Batman’s Batmobile does.

It’s not based on any particular Batmobile, either. Instead, Bieber wanted a car that could pass for a Batmobile, while still being a very good car to begin with. 

Bob Dullam’s Tumbler Batmobile

When Batman Begins premiered in 2005, the car world was shook. Batman’s Tumbler Batmobile was likely the coolest car that many people have ever seen, and since then, many people have tried to recreate it at home. 

Bob Dullam did just that and he made an incredible looking Tumbler that’s actually driveable. Dullam spent between $50,000 to $70,000 on it and he’s not even finished yet. He’s currently working on its interior and that will undoubtedly cost more. 

Dullam’s Tumbler looks accurate to the movie and it took him over five years to make it, and he did it by hand. Obviously, it doesn’t have the same features and gear as the real Tumbler does, but in terms of looks, Dullam nailed it.

A Texan’s homemade Batmobile 

Like Dullam, a fan in Texas was so in love with the 1966 Batmobile that they built a homemade version for themselves. This Batmobile was based on the Batmobile from Batman: The Movie but the Batmobile in that movie was also used in the Adam West Batman TV show. 

According to Auto Evolution, that original 1966 Batmobile was hand-built in Italy and cost over $250,000 to make. This Texan’s homemade Batmobile probably didn’t cost that much, but it certainly cost the creator a lot of time. 

It took that Texan fan nine years to build their homemade Batmobile. It’s also not known what car the fan used, but Auto Evolution suspects that a Chevy V8 is lurking under the hood of this Texan Batmobile. 

The British Batmobile

Not to be outdone, a British fan also built his own Batmobile, this time trying to replicate the 1989 Batman’s Batmobile. Unlike the other Batmobiles on this list, this British Batmobile has it all. 

Not only is it street-legal, but it also has flamethrowers. It’s not clear if those flamethrowers will make this British Batmobile illegal. With or without the flamethrowers though, this British Batmobile is a really powerful car that rivals the Batmobile of the movies. 

It has a 3.2-liter V6 from a Jaguar and it can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds according to Hot Cars. It’s a totally practical car too and it has a modern suspension and safety system. It also has a lot of cool features such as full LED running lights so that it can drive around just like the Batmobile in the Michael Keaton Batman movies did. 

That said, the British fan who built this Batmobile isn’t too attached to it. He’s asking for about $110,000 from anyone who wants to buy and drive this homemade Batmobile.
