That’s not as good as the Toyota Camry Hybrid, but we will say that the Accord’s hybrid system is better in real-world operation. We have driven the Camry and Accord Hybrid over the past year. We preferred Honda’s dual-motor system for its smoothness and seamless gas engine transition.

Despite the all-new Honda Accord Hybrid’s sloping roofline, it has plenty of interior room. When sizing it up next to the Camry, the numbers don’t lie. The Accord’s total interior passenger volume measures 105.7 cubic feet compared to the Camry’s 99.9. The Accord also has more cargo volume as its trunk measures 16.7 cubic feet compared to the Camry’s 15.1.
3. The Honda Accord Hybrid has more safety features than the Camry Hybrid
Both the Honda Accord Hybrid and the Toyota Camry Hybrid come equipped with a host of driver-safety aids. The Accord has Honda Sensing, which has features like adaptive cruise control, a forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, and traffic jam assist.
The Toyota Camry comes equipped with Toyota’s Safety Sense, which has the same features. However, the Accord also has a driver attention warning as standard equipment on every trim, which is something the Camry does not have.
