What makes the Audi A3 a perfect entry-level luxury car is its dual-zone climate control, versatile cargo space, and comfortable front seat, thanks to its hatchback body style. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine generates 200 horsepower, while the 3.2-liter V6 engine gives 250 hp.
However, the review notes that the car falls short of a comfortable, practical, and capable daily drive with a poor back seat that will squeeze most passengers.
2. 2013 Audi A4
While a used luxury car may fall into the “money pit” category, the 2013 Audi A4 offers a spacious upscale cabin, robust engine, and agile yet comfortable drive to deliver the reliability people can count on. U.S. News says the 2013 Audi A4 snags a Reliability score of 87, citing fewer owner-reported complaints about flaws and defects.
Although it claims the No. 2 position on the U.S. News list, the 2013 Audi A4 doesn’t go without flaws. For instance, the car loses points for its cramped back seats and confusing infotainment system. While it’s not the most powerful Audi on the list, it has a great list of standard features — an outstanding interior, a peppy turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a sunroof, automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seat, and an infotainment system.
