This is where Maxlider Brothers Customs comes in with its latest concept. As you can likely tell from the photos, the concept features two extra wheels, a lengthened frame, and various new off-roading goodies.

How much does the 2021 Ford Bronco cost?

As you might imagine, giving a 2021 Ford Bronco an extra set of wheels is far from cheap. While this model is still in its concept phase, Maxlider Brothers Customs estimates it’ll cost you around $400,000. For context, the standard Bronco model has a base price of $28,500.

While $400,000 for a Bronco is undoubtedly a massive amount of money, that’s a fairly common price range for a 6×6. Take, for example, Mercedes-AMG’s G63 6×6 and its $600,000 MSRP. While this was a full production model, it only existed in very tiny quantities. As a result, if you want four wheels, you’re left with aftermarket options.

For example, Hennessey will build you six-wheeled versions of either the Chevy Silverado or the Ford F-150. Like with this new Bronco concept, these 6×6’s also cost around $400,000. As these prices suggest, it’ll take quite a bit of clever engineering to bring this concept to life.

How do you give this SUV six wheels?

As of writing, everything we know surrounding this 2021 Ford Bronco concept comes exclusively from the photos you see above. Since this off-roading SUV hasn’t even arrived at dealerships yet, it’s impossible to get accurate data surrounding these updated components.

Regardless, these photos tell us plenty of useful information. For starters, this concept gets a lengthened chassis, larger wheels and tires, and a lifted off-roading suspension. Given the Bronco’s status as an off-roader, we expect to see all-wheel-drive as well.

Judging by the cabin, this SUV will also likely get an extra row of seats. Given the price-point, it’s not unreasonable to expect a re-trimmed interior with some added tech features.

Visual improvements aside, we’ll have to wait and see which engine this SUV will count on. Given the extra weight of the added components, this concept could sport an updated powertrain as well.

When will this Ford Bronco be available?

Since this concept relies heavily on the 2021 Ford Bronco’s delivery timeline, we won’t see it for some time. The company behind the concept says it’ll officially arrive sometime in 2022.

However, since this is a brand-new model, this concept will require plenty of one-off components. Since these are neither cheap nor quick to build, a couple of delays wouldn’t be surprising. Regardless, it’s one more offering to an ever-expanding aftermarket off-roading scene.
