If you have ever dreamed about owning a Bentley at some point in your life, then now is a good time to strike the iron while it’s hot. That is, if you don’t mind owning a 30-year-old Bentley model that will likely end up costing you a lot more than the price of entry to keep it well-maintained. But if you are able to keep the maintenance up, then here are five of the most-affordable Bentley models that you can currently buy.

1989 Bentley Eight

The Bentley Eight was the brand’s most-affordable offering from 1984 up until 1992. The Eight donned a mesh grille, as opposed to the slotted-grille found on most Bentley models, and had a 5.7-liter V8 engine under the hood. It was originally intended for the UK market, however, it’s sales did so well that it was eventually offered in the U.S. as well. Back then, you could pick one of these up for around $63,000, but in today’s used market, they’re going for around $10,000.

1989 Bentley Turbo R

The Bentley Turbo R was the high-performance variant of the popular Mulsanne model from 1985 to 1999. What set itself apart from the rest was that it had a retuned suspension and an upgraded turbocharged 6.75-liter V8 engine that was mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. It used to cost around $195,000 when it was new, but now you can buy one for around $15,000, which is less than a new Honda Fit.

2001 Bentley Arnage Red Label

The Bentley Arnage Red Label was first introduced in 1999. The Arnage Red Label got its name from the red-colored Bentley emblems and was different from the previous “Green Label” Arnage in that it 6.75-liter, turbocharged V8 engine that produced 354 horsepower and a staggering 615 lb-ft of torque. Not to mention, it had all the luxurious amenities and ride qualities that you would expect in any Bentley. And now you can have all of that for a low entry price of around $24,000.

2006 Bentley Continental Flying Spur

The Continental Flying Spur should look familiar to those who don’t even care about cars as it’s mesh front grille, four doors, and square taillights have all but become the signature Bentley look. The 2006 model was powered by and also-familiar 6.0-liter W12 engine that was once found under the hood of the legendary Volkswagen Phaeton. You can now pick one of these up for around $28,000, but remember to look up the ownership costs before you do so.

2005 Bentley Continental GT

The Bentley Continental GT was first introduced in 2003 and received some updates for the 2005 model year. It was equipped with a 6.0-liter, twin-turbo W12 engine that produced 552 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque and was hand-built and available in six different colors and a variety of interior trims and carpet colors. While the price was half of what the Continental R cost back then, it’s a downright bargain now at around $30,000.

Try and resist the temptation

In case you have been dreaming about owning a Bentley someday, that day has finally come as the five models can all be purchased for less than a Honda Accord. However, just be aware that their costs of ownership are nothing to sneeze at as repair costs along could set you back a long way. Sure, you can probably buy any one of these models tomorrow, but you could spend a lot more time and money having to maintain or repair it.
