Is a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat faster than an Audi RS 3?
It’s not often that a rabid little sedan outruns a powerful coupe in drag strip domination. However, the 2023 Audi RS 3 will hit 60 mph in a blistering 3.3 seconds. Still, while the Audi RS 3 is quicker to 60, it matches the Hellcat Redeye’s 11.8-second quarter mile.
What’s more, the compact German street weapon has four doors for added convenience. As a result, the RS 3 is grippier in inclement weather, more practical in town, and out runs the brutish Mopar.

The inline-six-powered 2023 BMW M240i isn’t just faster than an M2; it’s faster than a new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. The M240i will hit 60 in 3.6 seconds, 0.3 seconds quicker than BMW thinks the M2 will accelerate and 0.2 faster than the Hellcat Redeye.
Moreover, the 2023 BMW M240i xDrive features the automaker’s grippy AWD system. As a result, the lighter, more sure-footed BMW coupe is a much better daily driver in inclement weather than the brutish Mopar.
Can a Model 3 Performance beat a Hellcat?
Is it a surprise? Not really; the 2019 Tesla Model 3 Performance’s instant command over its dual-motor 470-horsepower platform will understandably outrun the traction-limited Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Still, the Tesla Model 3 Performance’s 3.1-second sprint to 60 mph makes it the quickest car on this list.
