5 of the Cheapest Used Luxury Sports Cars
Luxury sports cars offer buyers the thrill of driving while maintaining a sense of opulence. There are plenty of new luxury sports cars currently on the market; however, you would need to spend close to over $50,000 to get into one. Fortunately, the used market exists.
Although used car prices are still a little elevated, you can still find some used luxury sports cars for under $30,000. Check out this short list of prime examples.
1. 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a sedan, but it’s sporty enough to be on this list. If you want the sportiest trim level, look for a C450 AMG 4Matic model, which is equipped with a twin-turbo V6. That potent powerplant pushes out 362 hp, which is enough to scoot the small sedan up to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds. Additionally, this vintage of the C-Class has all of the luxury appointments you expect from a Mercedes-Benz. Many used examples are currently selling for less than $20,000.
2. 2016 Audi S4
The 2016 Audi S4 is equipped with the brand’s legendary Quattro AWD system, which enables it to put the power to ground effectively. How much power? The S4’s supercharged V6 engine generates 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. But the car’s power is only part of the equation. Throw in a six-speed manual transmission and agile handling that’s more akin to a TT than an A4, and you’ll see why the Audi S4 is the perfect daily driver.
3. 2013 Porsche Boxster
If you’re looking to get into a Porsche for not a lot of money, the 2013 Boxster is a great way to go. Kelley Blue Book says, “The Boxster supplies plenty of thrills and invigoration of open-air driving – not to mention Porsche quality.” Those thrills come in the form of 265 hp and 206 lb-ft of torque from the Boxster’s flat-six engine. Best of all, you can currently find one of this vintage for less than $30,000.
4. 2016 Cadillac CTS
If you like to fly under the radar, the 2016 Cadillac CTS is a great choice. The CTS was the American automaker’s entry-level sedan that had luxury amenities that rivaled many German sedans. But if power is what you seek, look out for a CTS-V model equipped with a twin-turbo V6 that makes 420 hp. With that kind of power, the Cadillac CTS can get up to 60 mph from a standstill in just 4.7 seconds.
5. 2017 BMW 4 Series
The BMW 3 Series coupe received its own designation as the 4 Series in 2014. In 2017, the model received a refresh, which included upgraded engines. One of which was a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that pushed out 320 hp. This vintage of the 4 Series is a great place to start if you’re looking to get into a BMW.
