The Porsche Taycan is the top pick for an electric sports car
When it comes to EV sports cars, iSeeCars thought the all-electric Porsche Taycan had it all. Even though it has four doors, the Taycan is about as sporty as it gets. Buyers can opt for rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, along with a few trim levels. Porsche offers the Taycan EV in 10 different varieties, from the base to the top-of-the-line Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo. You only need the base model to enjoy this electric sports car, but the Turbo S does get 750 and a zero to 60 mph time of 2.5 seconds.

Audi’s e-tron GT is a luxury electric sports car
The Audi e-tron GT has a lot to offer buyers but still comes in behind the Taycan. The base model GT gets 522 hp and has a zero to 60 mph time of 3.9 seconds (with boost engaged, Audi says). It also costs $104,900. Jumping up to the RS will run you $143,900 for 637 hp and a zero to 60 mpg time of 3.1 seconds. Audi equipped it with DC Fast Charging, with a 5% State of Charge (SoC) to 80% in 23 minutes.

Don’t forget the Tesla Model S and Model S Plaid
The Tesla Model S is basically the original electric sports car. Tesla’s Model S Plaid has a zero to 60 mph time of 1.99 seconds, which is just bonkers. The regular MS has a zero to 60 time of 3.1 seconds, fast enough for most people. Top speeds will run you between 149 and 200 miles per hour. Tesla has a range between 375 and 405 miles for the Model S and 348 to 396 miles for the Plaid.

Ford’s Mustang Mach-E electric SUV has been a fan-favorite
People didn’t love the name when the Ford Mustang Mach-E busted onto the scene. However, the electric Mach-E has proved to be just as fun to drive. The standard range battery has a range of 247 miles and a zero to 60 mph time of 5.8 seconds. Opting for the extended range rear-wheel drive battery with 306 miles of range will run you $8,600; the all-wheel drive version will cost $11,300 and get 290 miles of range.

Another pick for electric sports cars has to be the Tesla Model 3. The range varies from 267 miles on the RWD version and 315 miles for the dual-motor AWD version. Tesla has plans for an M3 Long Range version sometime in 2023, but it hasn’t released all the stats yet. Either way, the Model 3 is a fun-to-drive electric sports car.
