1. 2023 Ford F-150, one of the fastest full-size trucks

For over 40 years, the Ford F-150 has been the best-selling vehicle in America, and for good reason, it excels in nearly every category, even speed, and power. The F-150 in its regular lineup produces upwards of 400 hp and 410 ft-lb of torque out of its 5.0-liter V8 engine.

In total, the F-150 lineup has a whopping seven different engine options, ranging from a 2.7-liter V6 to a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 for the performance variants of the F-150. The F-150 is also available with a 400-hp hybrid engine capable of a 0 to60 time of 5.4 seconds.

2. 2023 Ford F-150 Lightening

The F-150 Lightening shocked the world when it was unveiled, bringing EV torque and speed into the mainstream pickup truck market. No, this wasn’t some tech startup or investor-funded project, this was a modern F-150 that could be purchased at any Ford dealer.

In the standard range model, the Lightning produces around 452 hp, with 580 hp available in the extended range model. Both motor setups make 775 lb-ft of torque, and with the extended-range model, the truck can go from 0 to 60 in just under 4 seconds.

3. 2023 Toyota Tundra

For 2023, the Tundra went against the grain by cutting its V8 engine option, becoming the only full-size pickup with no V8 option, at least currently. The Tundra is available with a twin-turbo V6, which is available in both hybrid and gas-only models.

The Ram brand brings a ton to the table at a value price with the 2023 Ram 1500. For 2023, the Ram comes in both V6 and V8 engine options, which are all electronically assisted by a hybrid system, that is, other than the 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which is available without a hybrid system.

The Ram produces between 260 hp and 702 hp and between 410 lb-ft and 650 lb-ft of torque, depending on the powertrain, and propels from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds on the high end.

The lone engine option for the Titan is a 400 hp V8 engine, producing 413 lb-ft of torque. According to Edmunds, the Titan is capable of a 0 to 60 time of 7.5 seconds, which is impressive for such a large truck.
