5. 2022 Kia Niro – 50 mpg combined

To be honest, the 2022 Kia Niro is basically a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid in Kia form. It has the same 139-hp engine and can achieve similar fuel economy figures. However, the editors at Car and Driver were able to achieve up to 46 mpg on the highway in their 75-mph fuel-economy test.
