450 HP Murdered Out 6×6 Goliath

Hennessey Performance conversions are always about extreme presence for the street. An extra drive-axle and 450 hp from a murdered-out, lifted Silverado Trail Boss Z71 is extremely Hennessey extreme. 

To kick off this contrast in extremes Hennessey lifts the Silverado eight-inches. To accommodate the added drive-axle it also lengthens the bed and adds that heavy, old-school roll bar. Hennessey-exclusive 20-inch wheels are wrapped in 37-inch tall BFG off-road rubber. Hennessey also adds its own bumpers front and rear.

Hennessey Goliath Warranty

If you’re worried about disqualifying the factory warranty Hennessey provides its own three-year 36,000-mile warranty. For the price of $375,000 it better. Select Chevy dealers can provide service so you won’t have to limp your Goliath back to Sealy, Texas. 

Hennessey says it will only build 24 of the Goliath six-wheelers. If it does build all 24 and there is more demand there’s still hope. Hennessey can always slip them into his other six-wheel pickup, the “VelociRaptor 6×6” Ford Raptor pickup.

Goliath Will Make “Huge Statement”

“We are very excited to offer our new Goliath 6×6 alongside our VelociRaptor 6×6 truck,” says John Hennessey. “These are very exclusive and unique vehicles that make a huge statement anywhere our clients go-whether it’s Rodeo Drive or the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert.” 

In the powertrain department Hennessey increases the power of the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with a cold air intake and stainless steel exhaust system which replaces the stock exhaust. Inside Goliath stitchwork is found on the black leather seats enhancing the red piping.  

Factory Finish Underneath

What is a bit surprising for a truck that exposes so much of the undercarriage and suspension (and sells for this much money) is that everything has a factory finish to all of the components. We would expect just a little bit more finish or detailing. Even some of those little factory tags you find on new vehicles are visible around the rear of the truck. 

It’s understandable that the effort to enhance the finish would be topside, and that detailing a chassis requires extra time which translates to a larger list price. Since Hennessey has to extend the frame and add the second drive components technicians are already under there so why not detail things to a better level? Maybe that’s not off-road acceptable? 

One other point worth noting is that when Hennessey first announced the Goliath in 2018 it said part of the package would be a horsepower increase to over 700 hp. It also said the pickup would do 60 mph in 4.5-seconds. With 700 hp becoming more common, as crazy as that seems, the idea of shoving this huge chunk of iron through the atmosphere in that amount of time is astonishing. We wonder what ever happened to that Hennessey Golaith?
