The full-size SUV has always been a popular automotive segment in the American marketplace. These traditionally truck frame-based SUVs offer a ton of passenger space and incredible capability, with considerable towing capacity. The best-selling SUVs on the market tend to keep their prices affordable, giving families in need a full-size vehicle they can depend on. With affordability in mind, here are the top seven most affordable large SUVs for 2023, according to iSeeCars.

7. GMC Yukon

According to iSeeCars, the No.7 most affordable full-size SUV for 2023 is the GMC Yukon, which starts at $57,500 MSRP. The GMC Yukon is one of the more luxury-focused full-size SUVs in America, with a significant amount of cargo space, seating for up to eight passengers, and a huge list of available features. One of these features includes GM’s Super Cruise system, which can essentially pilot the vehicle automatically on compatible roads. Standard features also include a 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and six USB ports throughout the cabin.

6. Ford Expedition MAX

Starting at $57,155 MSRP, the Ford Expedition MAX edges out the GMC Yukon as the No. 6 most affordable full-size SUV on the market today. Every trim level of the Ford Expedition is equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine that can produce up to 440 horsepower. Despite this vast powerplant, the Ford Expedition can get excellent gas mileage of up to 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. With a roomy interior that seats eight passengers, incredible towing capacity, and a 12-inch standard touchscreen, it is hard to go wrong with the Ford Expedition MAX.

5. Chevrolet Suburban

Starting at $55,300 MSRP, the Chevy Suburban is one of the cheapest vehicles you can buy for the amount of space you get in the interior. The Suburban has a total cargo volume of 41.5 cubic ft and comes with seating for eight. Despite this huge size, the Suburban can get nearly 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway with its available diesel engine, making this one of the most fuel-efficient full-size SUVs you can buy today. The Suburban also comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an 8-inch touch screen. Super Cruise is also available on higher trim levels.

4. Ford Expedition

The No. 4 most affordable full-size SUV on the market today is the standard Ford Expedition at $54,155 MSRP. The Ford Expedition has all of the features found in the Ford Expedition MAX, just with a smaller cargo space. The Ford Expedition MAX has up to 121.5 cubic ft of space with the rear seats folded down, and the standard Expedition has around 104.6 cubic ft of space with the seats folded down. Despite this smaller cargo space, the standard Ford Expedition has the same seating capacity as the MAX model, just in a slightly tighter and more affordable package.

3. Toyota Sequoia

The 2022 Toyota Sequia has a starting MSRP of $50,500 and offers one of the best values on the market today, both in available features and predicted longevity with its Toyota heritage. Of course, the 2023 Toyota Sequoia is already starting to hit dealer lots, and at $58,365, it is not found on this list of the most affordable full-size SUVs. However, if you can find a 2022 model, you can get behind the wheel of a V8-equipped SUV for a bargain price. The 2022 Sequoia offers seating for up to eight passengers, over 380 horsepower, and standard smartphone integration.

2. Nissan Armada

Starting at $50,400 MSRP, the Nissan Armada is one of the most underappreciated full-size SUVs today. This Armada comes standard with a V8 engine, 12.3-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto, four USB ports, Bluetooth Audio, navigation, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Top trim levels of the Armada can also be had with a standard 120-volt power outlet to run just about any electronic accessory. With seating for eight passengers, the Nissan Armada is one of the best values in the market today.

1. Chevrolet Tahoe

In 2019, Chevrolet reported that the Tahoe has been the best-selling full-size SUV in America for 19 consecutive years. With the value offered by the Tahoe at its low MSRP of only $48,450, it is easy to see why the Tahoe is so consecutively successful in sales. The Tahoe offers seating up to eight, an efficient diesel engine option, and a significant number of standard features. The Tahoe is essentially a Chevrolet Suburban in a slightly smaller, more affordable package. With available Super Cruise and an excellent infotainment system, you can’t beat the Chevrolet Tahoe in value for the money.
