BMW 3 Series PHEV/BMW 330e xDrive

Among the best sports sedans, the BMW 3 Series is one of the German brand’s most iconic vehicles, and now this car is available as a PHEV with the BMW 330e. According to BMW, the popular BMW 330 xDrive version of the PHEV starts at an MSRP of $45,300. In terms of its engine, the BMW 330 xDrive sports a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder and produces 288 horsepower. The electric motor of this PHEV provides an all-electric range of 20 miles, perfect for quick drives around town without using any gas.

Volvo S60 Recharge

The Volvo S60 Recharge combines luxury style with powerful performance and electric capabilities. According to Volvo, this PHEV has a range of 41 miles in Pure Mode, the company’s name for all-electric driving in a PHEV. Additionally, with the engine and electric motor combining for 455 horsepower, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. TrueCar states that the starting price for the Volvo S60 Recharge is $52,345.

Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring

The Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring serves as the PHEV model of the popular Lincoln Corsair crossover SUV. Lincoln lists the price of the Corsair Grand Touring at $53,385. While this does come with the benefits of being a plug-in hybrid and is still under $60,000, it is considerably more expensive than the non-PHEV Corsair. Still, it offers a spacious luxury interior, and according to Car and Driver, it can drive 28 miles using its electric power.

Audi Q5 PHEV

Another luxury crossover, the Audi Q5, is available as a gas-only model or a PHEV. All-wheel drive comes standard in the Audi Q5, and it is noted for its impressive handling. Audi states that the base Audi Q5 PHEV starts at an MSRP of $55,400. Like the other PHEVs on this list, the Audi Q5 PHEV has an electric-only mode with a range of 23 miles.

BMW 5 Series PHEV/BMW 530e xDrive

The BMW 530e xDrive is the PHEV variant of the BMW 5 Series, and it offers many of the benefits of the BMW 330 xDrive mentioned earlier. According to BMW, this large PHEV sedan can get from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds and offers an all-electric range of 21 miles. This is a true luxury sedan, which comes in at $58,700, making it the most expensive PHEV on this list.

Volvo XC60 Recharge

The Volvo XC60 Recharge is a luxury crossover with surprising power. Volvo states that the XC60 Recharge’s gas-powered engine and electric motor combine for 455 horsepower and give it a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of 4.5 seconds. Through its all-electric Pure Mode, drivers can get a range of up to 35 miles. As for cost, the Volvo CX60 Recharge PHEV starts at $57,200.

Lexus NX Plug-In Hybrid

The Lexus NX is yet another crossover SUV to get the PHEV treatment. Lexus lists several trims for the NX Plug-In Hybrid, and the one it focuses most on is the NX 450h+ AWD, which has a combined horsepower rating of 304. This model has a starting price of $57,300 and can drive using only electric power for up to 37 miles.
