America’s “Big Three” automakers command a loyal following in the United States. And it comes down to more than just brand fealty – General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler have been producing American SUVs known for their reliability for decades. Now, those same brands make some of the most highly regarded SUVs on the market. But which American SUVs are the most reliable? A few nameplates have risen to the top of one list, and it includes a couple curve balls.

U.S. News and World Report released its Most Reliable SUVs of 2023 list, and eight American SUVs made the cut.
