As truck prices increase at least some models are reaching new luxurious levels. For example, the Ram 1500 Tungsten challenges the GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. But the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten is expensive, so let’s see if it’s worth it.
How much does the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten cost?
The 2025 Ram 1500 tungsten costs $89,150, including the $1,995 destination fee. The entry-level Ram 1500 starts at $42,720, so it costs $46,430 to go from the standard Trademans trim to the most luxurious option.
Also, $42,720 feels incredibly high for the starting price of a full-size truck. But it may include plenty of value. The 2024 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate starts at $81,000.
The Tungsten starts with plenty of muscle. It comes with the new Hurricane High Output engine. The 3.0-liter inline-six engine cranks out 540 hp and 521 lb-ft of torque.
But the Ram can only tow up to 10,740 lbs and carry a payload of up to 1,370 lbs with this engine. Standard four-wheel drive sweetens the deal.
It rides on 22-inch machine-finished wheels with body-colored front and rear bumpers, unique headlights, and an exclusive grille design to set it apart.
It’s available with Ram boxes, a multi-functional tailgate, and a power tailgate is standard. It has power deploying running boards too.
The interior is crafted with upscale materials such as Natura Plus leather upholstery with Tungsten-patina stitching, article suede-covered surfaces, dual chrome trim, brushed metal accents, a jeweled shifter, and noise-canceling carbon fiber trim pieces.
A wood/leather-wrapped steering wheel and premium floor mats complete the look. There’s a massive overhead storage console and bins under the rear seats. The dual-pane sunroof allows plenty of light to enter the cabin.
Relax in the front seats that are heated, ventilated, massaging, and 24-way power-adjustable. The rear seats are heated, ventilated, and can recline.
The 14.4-inch touchscreen is paired with a 12.0-inch full-color digital gauge cluster and a dual wireless phone charging pad. There are 155-volt and 12-volt outlets to take advantage of.
Other tech features include a 360-degree camera, hands-free active driving assist, automated parking, a head-up display, automatic climate control, smartphone key, proximity keyless entry, built-in navigation, trailer damping, and tons of safety features.
