New rules set by the U.S. Treasury have made many electric vehicle (EV) models ineligible for full or partial tax credits from the government. However, nine EVs still qualify for the full incentive under the new rules.

1. Cadillac Lyriq

The Cadillac Lyriq is a full-size electric luxury SUV that qualifies for the entire EV tax credit, Fuel Economy notes. With an EPA electric range of 312 miles and a battery capacity of 102 kWh, this vehicle is an excellent choice for those looking for a long-range electric vehicle. The Lyriq boasts an EPA combined rating of 89 MPGe, making it an efficient option for city and highway driving. Its luxury features and sleek design make it a popular choice for those looking for a high-end electric SUV that also qualifies for the entire tax credit.

2. Chevrolet Blazer EV

According to Edmunds, the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer will be available in front-, rear-, or all-wheel drive, allowing drivers to choose the drivetrain that best fits their needs. This midsize SUV is set to be an exciting addition to Chevy’s electric vehicle lineup and is expected to have an impressive range of over 300 miles on a single charge. 

3. Chevy Bolt

The Chevrolet Bolt is an all-electric compact hatchback that boasts an EPA-estimated range of 259 miles on a full charge, making it perfect for city driving or long trips. The spacious cabin can accommodate up to five passengers comfortably. With an EPA combined rating of 120 MPGe and a horsepower of 200 hp, the Chevy Bolt offers both efficiency and performance.

4. Chevrolet Bolt EUV

A larger version of the standard Bolt, the Chevy Bolt EUV is a small electric crossover SUV with a 65 kWh battery capacity, providing enough power for daily commutes and road trips. The Bolt EUV has an EPA-estimated range of 247 miles on a full charge, making it perfect for those seeking a spacious and efficient electric car. Its EPA city/highway MPGe is 125/104, and its EPA combined rating is 115 MPGe. 

5. Chevy Equinox EV

The Chevy Equinox EV is an upcoming fully electric crossover SUV that will compete with other models, like the Kia Niro EV. The Equinox EV will be the first fully electric version of the popular Equinox model, and it’s expected to have a range of over 300 miles on a full charge.

6. Chevy Silverado EV

The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV, an upcoming all-electric pickup truck, is expected to have a range of 400 miles on a single charge, which is impressive for a truck of its size. The Silverado EV will also come with four-wheel steering, providing better maneuverability for drivers. In addition, it will have an impressive towing capacity of 8,000 pounds. 

7. Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

The 2022-2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) minivan with a sleek and upscale-looking interior. It has a combined MPGe of 111.
