2006 Subaru Impreza WRX: one of the fastest cars in Baby Driver

In Baby Driver’s memorable opening scene, Baby parks outside of a bank. He is in a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX–according to the Internet Car Movie Database. Baby begins the song “Bellbottoms” by the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. Then a gang of bank robbers get out of his car and go inside the bank. Baby dances in the car until they return and then he takes off. The ensuing car chase through downtown Atlanta includes tunnels, helicopters, and countless power slides. The fan-favorite Subaru WRX proves itself the perfect car for getaways and is one of the most memorable cars in Baby Driver. Ansel Elgort performed some of his own stunts and was so smitten with the car he actually begged the producers to let him keep one of the Subarus used in the film.

2007 Chevrolet Avalanche: one of the cursed cars in Baby Driver

The criminal mastermind Doc (Kevin Spacey) sets Baby up with a brand new crew and a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche for the film’s second heist. From the jump, everything goes wrong: As the gang argues over their masks, Baby has to start his song–“Neat Neat Neat” by The Damned–again. The bank has hired undercover private security and Baby is shot at before even leaving the parking lot. By the time Baby reaches the interstate, the 2007 Chevy Avalanche is badly damaged. The team needs a new car.

2008 Saturn Aura: one of the stolen cars in Baby Driver

Baby and the bank robbers run through standstill traffic and hold the driver of a 2008 Saturn Aura at gunpoint. When they take her car, Baby realizes she has an infant in the back seat. He makes sure to hand her the child before making his getaway. Baby manages to reconnect his iPod and play his driving song. He evades the police and makes his way to a parking garage where he has stashed a clean 2013 Ford Fusion to make their final escape.

1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Collectors Series

After the Chevy Avalanche car chase, Baby decides to leave the criminal life. He buys an “indestructable” 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V. The Lincoln is one of the most classic cars in Baby Driver. Baby gets an honest job as a pizza delivery driver, even impressing customers with his quick delivery times. He develops a soft spot for a diner waitress named Debora and they connect over a mutual love of music. Baby picks Debora up in his 1979 Lincoln Continental and takes her on a date to a fancy restaurant. Unfortunately, Baby runs into Doc in the restaurant and the kingpin threatens Debora to force Baby to drive one last heist job.

1994 Cadillac Deville

For Doc’s big robbery, his crew needs to buy guns. The night before the heist, Baby and the robbers climb into a 1994 Cadillac DeVille to meet an arms dealer. When Baby stops for gas one robber, Bats (Jamie Fox), holds up a convenience store to avoid paying for gum. Then, while buying guns, he shoots the arms dealers. Unfortunately, the team decides to stop for food and walks into Debora’s diner. She is scared, and Baby is concerned Bats will hurt her. He narrowly avoids trouble, and Bats threatens his life.

2009 Mitsubishi Galant

The day of the big post office heist, Baby drives the crew to the site in a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant. Baby feels something wrong with the job, again. Fittingly, he plays the Blur instrumental “Intermission.” During the job, Bats kills a security guard and threatens Baby again. Afraid for his life, Baby runs the car into a truck load of rebar and kills Bats. The accident totals the Mitsubishi. Baby escapes on foot while the robbers Buddy (John Hamm) and Darling get in a shootout with the police. Baby needs a fast car immediately.

1989 Chevrolet Caprice: another one of the stolen cars in Baby Driver

After escaping the police on foot, Baby is running low on options. He snags one of the robbers’ guns and uses it to hijack a purple 1989 Chevrolet Caprice. The car has no port to connect his iPhone. Though the police are bearing down on Baby, he scans through the radio stations before stumbling on “Radar Love” by Golden Earring. He throws the car’s confused owner her purse, then takes off.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Baby is in trouble, on the run from both Doc and the police. He is scared for Debora’s safety, so he picks her up and asks her to run away with him. When she agrees, they stumble upon a couple guys in a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Baby pulls out his gun to hijack the 700+ horsepower muscle car. “Know How” by Young MC is already playing on the Dodge’s stereo. Baby leaves the song on and races to the hideout to buy his safety from Doc.

2014 Mercedes Benz S 550 & 2003 Ford Explorer

Baby and Doc realize that Darling was killed in the shootout with the police. Buddy, grieving and angry, is gunning for Baby. Doc sacrifices himself to save Baby some time and Buddy runs him over with a Dodge Charger police cruiser. Baby and Debora leap into Doc’s 2014 Mercedes Benz S 550 to escape Buddy. He throws the luxury car into reverse and backs away from Buddy at breakneck speeds. Baby loses Buddy and races through a parking garage, looking for more cars so he can set a trap. He abandons the Mercedes as bait and when Buddy approaches it, Baby slams into the Charger with a stolen 2003 Ford Explorer. After pinning Buddy in place with the Ford, Baby jumps into a stolen 1985 Chevrolet Blazer K-5. Baby uses the old SUV to push Buddy’s Dodge–with Buddy aboard–off the top of the parking garage.

Baby wakes up and finds Debora is driving him out of town in the 1985 Chevrolet Blazer. She is playing a cover of “Easy Like Sunday Morning” by Sky Ferreira in the classic Chevy SUV. Tragically, Buddy’s gunshots deafened Baby. But he holds his hand up to the speaker and can feel the vibrations of the music. He smiles, knowing Debora kept her promise to run away with him. When they encounter a police roadblock, Debora throws the car into reverse but Baby stops her. He surrenders to the police and is thrown in jail.

1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible: one of the dream cars in Baby Driver

When Baby first met Debora, she was standing in front of a Diner mural of a 1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. In prison, he hangs a postcard of another 1959 Chevrolet Impala in his cell. He gets a prison job, his ears heal, and finally he is released. Outside prison, Baby finds Debora waiting for him in a 1959 Chevrolet Impala–one of the most iconic cars in Baby Driver. The two of them finally take to the open road, together.
