Fresh off of Cars and Bids is this 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage. It’s finished in Tungsten Silver and sports a fairly rare Iron Ore (red) interior. It’s everything you want an Aston Martin to be. Furthermore, It’s a coupe, it’s got a V8, and it wears the iconic Aston grille. That makes it all the more impressive when you find that it sold for just $19,000. That’s about what one might pay for a Honda S2000 from the same model year!

There’s sure to be some confusion about the price tag that one can very quickly alleviate with a glance at the odometer reading. This little Aston that could has seen some serious time on the road. It’s got over 130,000 miles on it. Though that may not seem like a lot compared to many vehicles of the same vintage, rest assured that it is a whole lot for an Aston Martin.

Aside from the obvious fear of mechanical failure and an accompanying devastating repair bill, some other flaws contribute to the low price. The listing states that it has rock chips, scratches, and scrapes on the fenders and front bumper and a trim piece coming off the bumper. Furthermore, the driver’s seat is worn, the airbag light is on, the wheels have curb rash, and it needs the engine mounts replaced. All of which is pretty standard for a car that actually gets driven.

Still, $19,000 seems like a pretty solid deal, considering the next cheapest V8 Vantage on record at Cars and Bids cost over $10,000 more.

How fast is an Aston Martin V8 Vantage?

Forcing the car to put its ego aside for a moment, it still holds up pretty well for the price.

Under the hood is a 4.3-liter V8 making a just-fine total of 380 horsepower and 302 pound-feet of torque. Enticingly, it revs all the way up to 7,300 rpm, too. It has what Aston Martin calls a six-speed “automated manual transmission.” That’s fancy talk for an automatic with paddle shifters.

This particular Aston Martin Vantage has a surprising amount of cool equipment, too. It’s got a limited-slip differential, stainless steel exhaust with active bypass valves, rear parking sensors, and power-adjustable sport seats. It also sold with a stack of service records, a spare key, and the original owner’s manual. Again, these aren’t things you’d usually be surprised to see an Aston Martin sell with. However, any other car from 2007 that’s been driven 130,000 miles might not have these little nuances anymore!

All in all, spending less than $20,000 on a clean title Aston Martin seems like a pretty fair price despite its cosmetic issues. Sure, you’re likely to run into some issues that will need addressing and may come with a lofty repair bill, but who buys an Aston Martin thinking that isn’t the case? For the high-revving V8 fun, sporty handling, and iconic British pedigree, this price is absolutely worth it!
