As one of the most popular new vehicles, Jeep Wrangler prices are starting to climb because demand is soaring. People are paying about 24.4 percent markup to get behind the wheel of a two-door model.

This comes to about $8,433 over the listing price. According to Fox News, the average new vehicle only has a 10 percent markup. The Wrangler has the highest markup out of every SUV that’s currently available. On that note, the 2022 Jeep Wrangler starts at $29,725.

New car translation prices are aggressively high due to supply chain shortages. Dealerships are responding to market conditions by pricing options way above MSRP to make a higher profit to offset lower sales volumes.

Limited vehicle production has led to minimal inventory, so people are willing to pay way above MSRP. Prices may not come back down until 2023 at the earliest. So, if you wait for the 2023 Wrangler, you might get a better deal.

What’s new for the 2023 Wrangler?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is expected to primarily be a carryover model. But we should see a mid-cycle refresh for 2024. Plus, the all-electric Wrangler is in the works. Anyways, the 2023 Wrangler starts at $30,295, which is a $570 increase over the outgoing model.

For 2023 you can get the new Freedom Edition, which is military themed. A $250 donation is made with each purchase to honor service men and women.

An Oscar Mike badge is on the tailgate, and a flag is on the side. It has a steel front bumper and rocker panels. It has a $3,295 premium.

Other than that, the Wrangler Rubicon gets new 17-inch wheel designs. New paint colors include Earl Grey and Purple Reign.

The Wrangler still has four engine options. The standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine provides 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to the 3.6-liter V6 engine for 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.

The 6.4-liter V8 engine cranks out 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. It’s available with the Rubicon 392. Also, the 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine cranks out 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque.

The Jeep Wrangler is incredibly popular because it’s durable and versatile. It can take a beating and still keep on going, making it perfect for adventuring. It sets the standard for off-roading vehicles and still outperforms the new Ford Bronco.

Plus, the Wrangler holds its value exceptionally well. So, if it isn’t your cup of tea, you won’t be stuck in an upside-down payment and can make your investment back.

Also, the Wrangler is fun and customizable. You can take off the doors and connect with nature. There are plenty of special editions available to provide a unique ride.

Because a vast amount of after-market parts are available, owners can easily customize their rigs to meet their individual needs.

There are tons of reasons to buy a Wrangler. However, prices are super high right now. You could save thousands by waiting a little longer.
