Then the Nissan Titan raises the bar even higher by starting around $36k.That’s a pretty eye-opening price difference.

The Ram 1500 has the best fuel economy in its class with the ability to get 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.

Meanwhile, the Nissan Titan struggles to get 16 mpg in the city and only gets up to 22 mpg on the highway. However, this fuel economy difference stems from the fact that the Nissan Titan base model comes with a more powerful engine.

Under the hood of the Nissan Titan, you’ll find one engine option. A 5.8-liter direct injectinction 32 valve V8 engine produces 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque.

The Titan has the best in class torque and can tow up to 11,000 lb. Also, the Titan sports a fair amount of pep with the ability to go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds.

With the Ram 1500, you have three engine options. The V8 isn’t included with the base model, so you will have to pay more to upgrade to it.

The Ram 1500 is often praised for its 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with 480 lb-ft of torque and the ability to tow 12,560 lb. The 5,7-liter V8 Hemi engine produces 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque.

Also, the Ram 1500 has better acceleration with the ability to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.1 seconds.

But the Ram 1500 remains on top as the better option with more power, more comfort, and more tech. Only go with the Nissan Titan if all of the towing features tempt you, but keep in mind that the Ram 1500 can tow more.
