If you never saw Viva La Bam, Jackass, or CKY skate videos back in the early 2000s, you might not know Bam Margera. On the other hand, maybe you knew the name because the show was crazy popular for the premise. It was just Bam running around bonking his parents in the head and destroying their house in Pennsylvania. In one particularly interesting episode, Bam has Billy Idol make his Lamborghini Gallardo into a convertible on the side of a road. Ah, the memories of Bam, his cars, drama, shenanigans, and his poor parents.

Did Bam Margera have a convertible Lamborghini Gallardo?

Bam Margera’s 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo did not start life as a convertible. In fact, Lamborghini didn’t even offer models with convertible tops at that time. In one of the more ridiculous episodes of Viva La Bam, Billy Idol was in Atlantic City to do a show.

Bam, Billy, and some of their friends pulled over onto the side of the road to cut the roof off the Gallardo. In the most illegitimate way possible, of course. “Convertible time,” Mr. Bam Margera says. I swear that Bam must have gotten in trouble for this and had the clips have been removed from the internet. The only place I could find the scene was TikTok.

Billy said he had been in the rain for five days and wanted sun. So, instead of continuing to stand outside in the sun, these four decided to cut into the roof of the Lamborghini. The hole looked good from afar, to be honest.

Does Bam still own the Lamborghini Gallardo?

The 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo stayed with Bam Margera for quite a few years. More recent photos show that someone installed a real sunroof in the sports car. It also sold a few times, landing with RoseLux Motors in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, back in 2021.

Not that Bam was known for his easy lifestyle, but the poor Lamborghini took a beating. Back in 2011, he took to Twitter to blame his friend Cleveland for putting diesel in the engine. Bam posted photos showing the Lambo on the back of a flatbed truck. We can’t actually link the post because of all the colorful language, but TMZ said it cost $45,000 to fix the gas issue.

I do not expect this Lamborghini to be structurally sound

After almost 20 years of ownership with Bam, that thing had seen some…stuff. It actually appeared to be in OK condition in some of the sales photos, but we didn’t get up close. Realistically, people are more interested in the history of the vehicle than an almost 20-year-old clapped-out Lamborghini. There can only be one Gallardo that Billy Idol beheaded on the side of the road. This is just a reminder never to buy a supercar sight unseen, especially if it was in Bam Margera’s possession for any amount of time.
