The base engine was a new 3.7L V6 with 302 hp, a 5.0L V8 with 360 hp, the EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 with 365 hp, and a 6.2L V8 with 411 hp. On top of that, it also comes with various body types and trim levels. Two and four-wheel drive are available, too.

Some of the standard safety systems on this 2011 pickup truck include Antilock disc brakes, stability control, trailer sway control, and plenty of airbags. The 2011 Ford F-150 can tow up to 6,100 pounds with the base V6 and up to 11,300 pounds with the V8 and EcoBoost V6.

Four-wheel drive and an automatic transmission were available upgrades. Fuel economy with the rear-wheel drive manual sat at 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. That dropped to 14 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway with 4×4 and the automatic transmission.

The 2011 Ford Ranger has four-wheel antilock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags, and stability control. This truck only received a two-star overall safety rating, with average frontal and side crash test scores.
