In addition, customers love it because it comes with everything you could ask for in a new vehicle. For example, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, a panoramic sunroof, a rear seat entertainment system with dual 12.6-inch screens, an air suspension, heated second-row seats, and much more.

However, the downside to the most popular Yukon trim is the cost. Customers are paying $71,195 for the Denali to get all the bells and whistles. Compared to other high-end luxury full-size SUVs, the Yukon Denali’s value isn’t too bad. Unfortunately, experts don’t recommend the Denali, but a Yukon trim that’ll save you over $10,000.

For Edmunds and C/D, it’s the best value because it’s a slight price increase over the base model, but gains leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and an upgraded audio system.

In addition, the base models come with a 5.3-liter V8 producing 355 horsepower. Do you really need the Denali upgrade to a 6.2-liter V8 that makes 420 horsepower? Buying an SLT trim gets owners the GMC Pro Safety Plus package, 20-inch wheels, a hands-free liftgate, heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, and a wireless charging pad for $60,095. Of course, all this is in addition to the lineup of standard features for the base model.

Yukon SLE base model standard features include things like a 10.2-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, forward collision mitigation, and lane-keeping assist. Next, optional features like the contents of the SLT Luxury package unlock at this trim. The package features driver’s seat memory, a heated steering wheel, a heated second-row, a power-folding third-row, and a surround-view camera. Lastly, the second-row bench is swappable with two bucket seats.

In conclusion, the most popular 2022 GMC Yukon is the Denali trim. However, experts agree the SLT model is the best version of the full-size SUV. Packed with value, it’s surprising that it comes in over $10,000 lower than the Denali trim. Why do people keep buying the most expensive Yukon when there’s a far cheaper and better alternative? Even buying an SLT with the optional SLT Luxury package is more affordable than the Yukon Denali.
