Best SUV Deals of October 2021 According to MotorTrend
As we move further into the spooky season and the month of October, automakers have begun rolling out sales deals for SUVs. Fortunately, MotorTrend has found the best available SUV deals for the month along with all the details. Here are the SUVs available in October 2021 with great sales deals.
Jeep Cherokee – lease deal
Jeep is offering lease deals on one of its more popular SUV models, the Cherokee. Not to be confused with the Grand Cherokee, be sure to differentiate, because the models are completely different. The Cherokee lease deal is only available for current Stellantic leasees. If you’re unfamiliar, Stellantis is the company that owns Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Maserati, Ram, and a few more. That means if you’re currently leasing a vehicle from any of these automakers, this deal is available to you.
The discounts are nationwide and are available in both front and all-wheel drive variants of the Cherokee. Limited, Latitude Lux, 80th Anniversary Edition, and Trailhawk Cherokee models can be discounted for between $4,200 and $5,350. The Jeep Cherokee has been largely the same since 2014 and was last refreshed in 2019.
Jeep Grand Cherokee – lease deal
Only for current leasees in the Great Lakes and Northeast regions, Jeep has a $2,280 to $2,780 discount on the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jeep is beginning to clear out the old model year inventory as 2022 approaches. Almost all variants of the Grand Cherokee qualify for the deal, including RWD, AWD, and the Summit trim.
The Grand Cherokee is getting a complete redesign for the 2022 model year. That’s a huge reason for the automaker to offer great end-of-year pricing on this model. We expect that if this lease deal doesn’t do it for you, there might be even better ones coming closer to the end of the year. Once the 2021 Grand Cherokees sell out, the deals will disappear.
Fiat 500X – discount
The Fiat 500X subcompact crossover vehicle is being offered for a discount of $2,000 off of any trim during the month of October. For a vehicle that starts at just $26,625, that’s a pretty significant discount. Despite the decent discount for the month, MotorTrend notes this vehicle is nearly dead last on its list of subcompact SUV rankings. Unfortunately, a discount of any size does not change the small interior and poor quality materials.
Jeep Renegade – discount
The Jeep Renegade is slightly smaller than the Cherokee, so if you’re looking for something more compact this might be the answer. The deal offers the Renegade for a $2,250 discount off its already affordable starting price point of $22,850. This particular deal from Jeep is limited to certain areas of the United States, specifically a few states. These include Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
Jeep Compass – discount
The Compass is getting old in terms of its design and could use a legitimate refresh. Competing with the likes of highly in-demand vehicles like the Bronco Sport means it has to be discounted to survive. For October 2021, it’s being offered with a $4,100-$5,100 discount off its original starting MSRP of $24,495. The Compass is also smaller than the Cherokee, and this list seems to cover just about every SUV in the Jeep lineup.
If you’re looking for an SUV from Jeep during October 2021, it’s a great time to be a buyer. The newly refreshed Grand Cherokee is coming next year, and we expect some of the other Jeep SUV models to follow suit soon after. That’s a great reason for Jeep to empty its inventory of all 2021 new vehicles. These deals are only available until the end of October, so hurry in before Halloween when the prices get scary again.
